Case Study: Midlands Co-op
The Midlands Co-op approached CVA about designing a new site for their brand Holidays Direct. Impressed by our work for Holidays by Phone they requested we looked into the search engine market place for the best technology for their requirements and budget. Once the search engine had been chosen we set about completely updating the user interface. The resultant web site is very easy to use and very fast at finding the latest real time offers based on the users criteria. The web site call to action is still fulfilled through their existing call centre as we felt the current market place demanded a human interface at the point of booking. Online payment, for all it's efficiencies, is still not right for a package holiday purchase with it's inherent variables, cost sensitive nature and high value. The Co-op are delighted with their new site and don't just take our word for how good it is, take New Media Ages word instead after it won a 'best site' award in 2002.
