Case Study: Island Blue
TV Travel Shop launched the new tour operator Island Blue and asked CVA to design the branding and a direct mail brochure. We also helped position the brand in a crowded market place and supplied copy writing for the brochure, internal and external marketing (it was as important to sell the product to their call centre as it was to the consumer). The logo had to reflect the aspirational yet attainable nature of their holidays. Or in other words it had to look expensive, but not too expensive. To make matters more difficult we also had to be able to re-produce the logo in two colours in order to keep costs to a minimum. The brochure had a similar conflicting brief � get six hotels on each page, but maintain a feeling of quality and use white space where possible. Not an easy task, but our years of experience helped us meet the brief.
