Case Study: Holidays by Phone
We were approached by Steve Endacott to design a corporate identity to launch Holidays by Phone, which has rapidly expanded to become one of the UK's most successful direct booking travel agencies. The original corporate theme has been applied to many associated ventures and we have created and implemented unusual advertising campaigns in the national and local press, as well as the London Underground. CVA were then commissioned to develop a web site to mesh with some quite astonishing bespoke search technology. The resulting web site provides consumers with real- time information and best possible pricing on virtually every holiday and flight departing the UK. Currently the web site has vastly exceeded all expectations delivering a staggering 1,000 calls a day. Steve Endacott estimated that since launch in January 2001, in under 8 months the site had booked over 10,000 passengers, generating a revenue in excess of £2.75m.
